Turkey has suffered historical earthquakes even before 1900.
Many of them had the epicentres within the current boundaries of Turkey, which caused significant effects in its area.
This year starting from 6 February, Turkey have suffered the loss of over 44,000 people, and more than 17 million injured in need of shelter, food and medical aid.
The latest earthquakes of 6.4-magnitude and 5.8 magnitude have hit Turkey last night, with a consequence of three killed and 213 injured.
