Oljypohja is an alkyd microporous wood primer designed for the effective treatment of new and previously painted timber surfaces before applying Tikkurila topcoats. This primer is fully tintable to match topcoat colors.

It is suitable for a variety of timber surfaces, both new and previously painted, whether rough or smooth, as well as impregnated wooden surfaces. Oljypohja is particularly well-suited for use on previously painted timber surfaces and unpainted timber surfaces in poor condition. Once dry, this wood primer creates a robust and binding primer film for enhanced durability and performance.
