Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry, sound, and free from any dust or possible contaminates that may interfere with adhesion.

• Remove all loose or peeling paint and chalky residue, sand the edges of any remaining paint to ensure a smooth surface

• New concrete, masonry and other related surfaces must be cured for at least 30 days before priming

• Fill any holes or gauges

• For bare or porous surfaces apply a mist coat of the AllWeather Masonry paint, thinned with white spirit

Note: Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960 paint surface as they may contain harmful lead.
