This Expansion vessel, suitable for a range of Vaillant EcoMax 600 & 800 Range 2000 to 2007, Ecotec Plus 600 & 800 Range, VU 2000 to 2010 & VUW Boilers 1999 to 2010 . The primary purpose of an expansion vessel is to protect closed water heating systems from pressure build up within the system. Filled with air, the expansion vessel acts as a cushion against those surges in pressure.
